Crazy Good Deal: 2024 All My Keygroup Instruments For Akai MPC
Here is an offer you should grab today! Dont even think about it, just click buy!
When you first bought your Akai MPC One/Live/Live II/X, did you say "Where are the sounds?"
When I bought my MPC I sure wondered where the sounds were. I downloaded everything that Akai offered. The default sounds that are supplied are nice, but there are not very many of them. At that time, I was interested in classical music scores that often required 20 varied instruments, and the initial instruments that came with my Akai MPC One were not cutting it.
Within 2 days, I spent over $300 buying additional sound packs to have a more respectable 200 instruments or so worth of sounds. I later spent at least $500 on buying all the Akai soft synths. I then learned how to create my own Instrument Keygroups from my own collection of vintage synths. It took me a while to master all the intricacies.
Making your own keygroup instruments is a very detailed process to get it right. I had a lot to learn. But eventually as I learned all the ins and outs, it became fun, and creating more instrument keygroups is how I relax.
You could say I have "Sound Acquisition Syndrome". I want to share that with you.
"If you are going to be serious about music, you need serious kit!" - Hans Zimmer, film composer
My soundpaks must be part of your serious Akai MPC music making kit.
Over the last two years, I have created over 1,100 Akai MPC Instruments from 43 different synthesizers from 20 different manufacturers. I have spent thousands of dollars buying new physical synthesizers, sometimes going to other countries to get rare gear, just to create Akai MPC keygroup instruments from all of them.
I do this because my Akai MPC is my primary music development tool, and it runs my studio. While it is cool to control a synth via midi, what if you want to have several synths at the same time? Or you need two or three sounds from the same synth, but you only have one copy of that synth?
This is where my keygroup instruments are extremely valuable. The Akai MPC has no limitation on the number of keygroup instruments you can use at the same time, except for the total memory that they take. I have made sure my instruments use memory efficiently. I will soon be adding free tutorial videos for all my customers to show you how to get even more efficient with the memory usage of your Akai MPC.
Some of these synthesizers that I bought to make keygroup instruments from are quite old. Some of my musician friends think I am a little crazy for buying so many synths, and especially expensive to maintain vintage synths. I have spent hundreds of dollars in just the last six months on maintenance.
And my musician friends remind me "Buying synths doesnt make music!" And Brian Eno cursed two of my synths as being "antediluvian objects". In other words, they are almost so old they are from the time of Noah's flood! BTW, the same synth that Brian Eno's has didn't work at all. I have two of these ancient dinosaurs in perfect order, and I am spending a lot of time learning sound design on them.
Eventually every new sound that I engineer ends up being captured as an Akai MPC Keygroup Instrument. Then I can use these sounds with the Akai song and beatmaking and loopmaking workflows that I enjoy.
I absolutely love creating keygroup instruments for the Akai MPC.
