All of these multi-sampled instruments are from a pare of TF1 blades in a Yamaha TX816 Midirack. The TF1 blade implements a complete DX7 first edition sound engine on a card. Since the DX7 Mark 1 was a

Mono output, two blades were used to create a stereo signal. They were loaded with ROM1A.

We took so many mutli-samples that the whole set of instruments is delivered as two collections, both of them are included here.

This collection focuses on a wide variety of sounds from the factory ROM1A for the Yamaha DX7. This includes .WAV files, and the instrument keygroup files that work with Akai MPC One/Live/Live II/X.

When Phillip G., a mix engineer with 50 CDs to his credit, had a chance to play my DX7 instruments, he said "Wow! These are the DX7 sounds I love. I really miss my DX7!"
